田天海,博士,2001年博士畢業(yè)于澳大利亞昆士蘭大學數(shù)學系,本科和研究生畢業(yè)于華中科技大學數(shù)學學院,現(xiàn)為澳大利亞莫納什大學數(shù)學學院教授。田天海博士在基因網(wǎng)絡(luò)和細胞信號傳導(dǎo)等生物系統(tǒng)的隨機建模,隨機動力系統(tǒng)的數(shù)值模擬,模型參數(shù)估計,及統(tǒng)計分析與計算等方向開展過很多有創(chuàng)新意義的工作,并取得較多的研究成果。獲得過澳大利亞研究基金會的“未來研究員”和“澳大利亞人研究員”等稱號。共發(fā)表130多篇學術(shù)論文,其部分研究成果己發(fā)表在高級別學術(shù)刊物上。
報告摘要:
In this talk we discuss a robust method to develop multistable mathematical models by embedding bistable models together. Using the GATA1-GATA2-PU.1 module in hematopoiesis as the test system, we discuss a tristable model based on two bistable models without any high cooperative coefficients, and then modify the tristable model based on experimentally determined mechanisms. The modified model successfully realises four stable steady states and accurately reflects a recent experimental observation showing four transcriptional states. The proposed method is a general approach to develop mathematical models for realising multistability and heterogeneity in complex systems
